It’s still a bookmark if you’re watching episodes of a teevee show, right? I never watched Arrested Development but hey, soooo much hype over the new fourth season on Netflix and the first three seasons are free on Amazon Prime. So I just finished the first season of the show. Very funny; I can’t remember what else was on in the early Oughts to compare it too. I suppose that’s part of why it’s fans loved it so much.
FEB 28 2013 UPDATE: I watched the 2nd season and and now I’m onto the shortened third season. It’s amazing how many ridiculous plot thread they managed to layer into this show without disturbing the unchanging premise: Michael is the straight guy surrounded by his looney family. I just finished watching the 5th episode of Season 3 (“Mr. F”) which has about the funniest scene ever with Tobias in a mole suit destroying the tiny town set up by Job and Super Dave Osborne and than George Michael arriving in a jetpack suit to do battle with the apparently giant mole, all in front of a crowd of Japanese businessmen. All of which is totally coherent within the plot of the episode.
March 8 2013 UPDATE: Finished the third season; not a bad ending at all. Nice cameo role by Justine Bateman. Good show; who knows how the new fourth season will go given the gap in time but I’m kind of looking forward to seeing it now.
