Speculative Fiction as SF is often referred to as now is my main go to for engaging with ideas and the meaning of of it all. Every now and then I would throw in a reference to a book in the original strips — that kind of dates the strip as most books lose their immediacy after being out in the world for a while (let alone twenty years ago).
